Billing questions
Is a credit card needed to start?
No. The trial runs 30 days from the moment you create the account, and we do not ask for payment details to begin it.
Why per location instead of per screen?
Because per-screen pricing charges you for doing the right thing. A restaurant that wants a second board over the counter and a third at the drive-through should not be billed three times for one restaurant. Screens within your allowance are free.
What counts as a location?
One physical restaurant. Screens belong to a location, and the plan sets both how many locations you may have and how many screens each may run.
What happens when the trial ends?
Your screens keep playing. The account becomes read-only until you choose a plan, so menus cannot be edited, but nothing is deleted and nothing goes dark.
What if a payment fails?
You get an email and a grace period to fix the card. After that the account goes read-only, on the same terms as an expired trial: boards keep playing, data stays.
Can I change plan later?
Yes, up or down, from inside the app. A downgrade checks that you are within the smaller plan's limits first, so it cannot silently orphan a location.
How do I cancel?
Manage or cancel your subscription yourself from the billing page, through Stripe's secure portal, without emailing anyone. When a subscription ends your boards keep playing and nothing is deleted; the account becomes read-only.
Do you take card details?
No. Checkout and card storage run entirely through Stripe, so no card number ever reaches our servers.
Thirty days, no card, cancel from the app
If it does not fit your restaurant, you have lost nothing but an evening.
